"The Thingy!" is the second episode of the second season of The Aquabats! Super Show!, although it was aired fourth.
Synopsis
On the road home from a snowy ski trip, The Aquabats encounter a body-snatching alien set on turning them into spaceship fuel. Crash evades capture and must overcome his fears to save his friends.
Plot
While returning home from a relaxing ski vacation, The Aquabats get trapped in a snow embankment and are forced to spend the night without power in the Battletram. In an overt parody of the 1982 film The Thing, a malicious alien lifeform sneaks aboard the vehicle and begins assimilating (and thus imitating) The Aquabats one by one as part of a plot to melt them down into rocket fuel. Successfully evading capture, Crash must learn to overcome his fears and rescue his pals from certain doom.
