"The Shark Fighter!" is the 1st track on The Aquabats! release Hi-Five Soup. It was later the basis of an episode of the Super Show.
It was released digitally online on December 14th, 2010, nearly a month before the release of the album. Fans could stream the song via The Aquabats Facebook page and it was also available as a digital download from websites like shockhound.com.

On-Stage Antics[]
The timing and antics of this song vary, but usually involve inflatable sharks being thrown into the audience, much like Pool Party. During performances at the Warped Tour, one of the stage managers who looked like Hulk Hogan would come out and slay an inflatable shark with a huge knife.
Trivia[]
- Although it was probably an inside joke, The Aquabats stated during the Warped Tour that the song was written in honor of the Stage Manager who was in charge of their stage. This was probably because he looked very tough and masculine, and also probably was done in order to lighten his mood, as he got ticked off at their repeatedly over-time sets.
