Hey guys,

The Wiki is over 500 pages, but still needs drastic improvements, especially since the implementation of the new Wikia standard theme update. I'm hoping to make even more customized changes to the look and feel but its harder to do than the changes I'm making to the forum, and you know how slow that goes (apologies all). But slowly and surely we'll get this to where it needs to be.

In the meantime, I'm relaunching this thread with some neat new changes!

THE NEW WIKIA HOMEWORK! The wikia homework assignments have been reborn and launched with even more vigor. This time around we're giving out PRIZES (did he just say prizes?), yes thought in my head, I said PRIZES each month's end for the biggest wikia contributor!

The system works the same as before:

Each week, I'll assign a new homework assignment emphasizing the places where the Wikia needs the most work. At the end of the week I'll check the update history and post the names of users who contributed to each assignment. The user with the greatest contributions: a combination of # of pages and work on the pages (ex: the person who revitalizes a major section of 3 pages wins over a person who does a one word update to 50 pages) as well as extra points added for sticking to the assignment and doing the extra credit*, will be the monthly winner!

Remember, you don't have to only contribute to the "homework assignment" of the week, you can help by adding and updating any of the articles available! You can even add new articles! Try to remember to categorize them where they can easily be found. If you don't know where to categorize them, stick them in 'general information' and it can always be sorted out later.

I'm creating these assignments to update you on the latest changes to the Wiki and more importantly to ask for your help on specific updates. Each update is called the "homework assignment" for the week and will be updated every Wednesday (usually).

I'll then check the update history throughout the week and post the names of users who contributed to each assignment. If this works out we'll start creating some incentives and contests, but for now, I hope you're all motivated enough to just want to help!

I've also recently updated the main page of the Wikia to include a menu of our homework assignments, please link these to your friends so we can build the wiki better!
