Aneheim, CA - BIG NEWS!!!

For the first time in six years, the legendary Go-Go 13 will now be headlining the Horchata Records "Rice Capades Live" party at Chain Reaction on August 26, 2000.

Go-Go 13 was a short-lived ska band from 1994 who wrote the original "Idiot Box" and inspired in many ways, The Aquabats. But due to band members moving away, they were forced into an early retirement.

But the band recently announced that they will be replacing The Sandfleas by doing a partial reunion show that is promised to be fully loaded with fun.

The Sandfleas who were slated to headline the show until last weekend when they were forced to cancel do to health reasons. Drummer, Fang Sandflea broke his middle finger in a scuffle with some girl scouts at a local Dairy Queen on Tuesday rendereing him entirely useless.

Fortunately, Utah's own soul-ska-pop heavyweights, the Soulutions and Canadian electronic rockers Digital Unicorn are still slated to open. DU's frontman, Mann says on this show "It's a very special occasion for tomorrow's future to get together and enjoy some very touching music." He continues, "It is my honor to support Horchata Records. They are the magic in my heart."

So-Cal's surfing punk rockers, The Immortals have just been added to the bill and are sure to make it a rocking good time!

This show promises oh, so much. And with all the wonderful things Horchata Records has brought us, you can be sure there will be fun, laughs and many surprises! Bands are still being confirmed at the moment, so stay tuned for more news from Horchata Productions!
